Alejandra Armendáriz, o mejor conocida como "La Suki", es apasionada de los sombreros y siempre los ha usado desde que tiene uso de razón. Nació en Hermosillo, Sonora, el salvaje oeste de México, conocido por su cultura vaquera, su desierto y su ganado, pero ahora llama hogar a San Miguel de Allende, donde continúa celebrando en su vida diaria el rancho y el mundo de los caballos. Pero en 2020 comenzó su emprendimiento más emocionante: Suki Palomina, un atelier de sombreros mexicanos. Siempre ha sido una amante de los sombreros y ha trabajado con grandes marcas; Stetson, Resistol, Charlie One Horse y su sombrerería favorita; Shortys Cawboy Hattery, que le permitió aprender y comprender los materiales, las formas y todas las pequeñas cosas que beneficiarían el ajuste y sentir de un sombrero. Ahora ella misma diseña los sombreros, incluida la corona patentada Suki, un éxito de ventas. Pero también puede personalizar el sombrero de sus sueños con diferentes materiales y técnicas para aquellos que tengan la suerte de conseguir una cita privada en su Atelier. La Suki tiene la misión de fusionar el diseño de sombreros mexicanos, materiales locales y un enfoque hecho a mano para celebrar los sombreros de una manera moderna y más urbana.

Alejandra Armendáriz, or better known as "La Suki", is a fan of hats and has always worn them for as long as she can remember. She was born in Hermosillo, Sonora - the wild west of Mexico, well-known for its cowboy culture, desert, and cattle – but now calls San Miguel de Allende home where she continues to celebrate her ranch upbringing and the world of horses. But in 2020 started her most exciting venture--Suki Palomina, a Mexican hat atelier.
She has always been a hat lover and worked with big brands; Stetson, Resistol, Charlie One Horse, and her favorite hat place; Shortys Cawboy Hattery, which allowed her to learn and understand the materials, the shapes, and all the little things that would benefit the feel and fit of a hat. Now she designs the hats herself, including the patented Suki crown, a best seller, but can also customize your dream hat with different materials and techniques for those lucky enough to secure a private appointment. La Suki is on a mission to merge Mexican hat design, local materials, and a handmade approach to celebrate hats in a modern and more urban way.
